The Sean Kearney Memorial Scholarship was awarded this year to Cameron Anti from Plymouth South High School & Dan Ahlstedt from Plymouth North High School.
We asked to those who applied to tell us what Play With Heart Meant to them Thank you for everyone who sent us an essay. It was a pleasure to read everyones, however these two stood out to us, above all the others.
These 2 gentleman will be awarded 1 thousand dollars during their 2nd semester at school.

The Sean Kearney Memorial is proud to announce that the Plymouth Yacht Club has
created an award for The most enthusiastic Sailor. This child would be so excited to come to sailing. Who is always ready to lend a hand to a fellow sailor. This child is excited to come to sailing each day, the first to be ready to go and the one who had the best time, even if they didn't win. This award is chosen each year by the Director of the program Colleen Kelly and her wonderful staff.
In 2008 this award was given to Alexis Duncan, a child in Mate 1
In 2009 this award was given to Nick Graziano, a child in Mate Sean
We are very proud of both of these children. Christopher had so much fun sailing with Nick and Alexis this summer. They sailed in their first Regatta at the Scituate Yacht club and had so much fun. Our children are so fornuate to be able to sail each summer. They are creating wonderful memories.
