After our son died we were so grateful to all the hockey programs that reached out to our family.  Hockey is a sport where you spend so much time together, the people you meet become a 2nd family.  We have been very lucky to meet so many amazing people and many of our dear friends we have met through hockey.  

We also know the exspense that goes along with hockey.  If you find yourself in a financial hardship that prevents your children from playing the sport they love, we may be able to help. 

Guidelines

1. You must be a Massachusetts resident

2.  Your child must be in a youth hockey program

3. Your child/family needs to have been playing in this program for 2+ years

4.  You need to have made an effort  for a payment plan with the youth hockey program

5. You need to be in good financial standing with the youth hockey program.

6. If you are a High School Hockey Player that can not afford your atheltic fee

Hardship

1. Loss of job within 6 months of payment

2. Illness

3.Loss of a child or Parent 

4. Special 

The decision of who qualifies is made by the family trustee's.  All of our answers are final and there is no appeal to the process.  

We are happy to say that we have been able to help several children over the past 3 years.  We helped out 3 children this year and hope to help many more over the years.  If you would like to make a donation to the Sean Kearney Memorial Fund Please send to Sean Kearney Memorial Fund c/o Mark Kearney 183 Fairview Lane Plymouth Ma 02360.  Please watch the website for our Irish Night in April and Golf Tournament in July.
